Convenient virtual care for common illnesses and minor health concerns- without spending hours in a waiting room.
Common concerns: cold & flu symptoms, sinus infections, cough, sore throat, allergies, pink eye, nausea, urinary tract and vaginal health conditions, minor infections.
Women’s health, skin concerns, medication refills, labs & imaging review, second opinions, independent medical opinions/nexus letters, medical forms & documentation.
Other ways we can help
Insurance is not required. Zana Health operates as a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance for visits. You may still use your insurance for outside services such as prescriptions, laboratory testing, and imaging when accepted by those providers.

Hi, I’m Vanessa Banales, MHS, PA-C
Founder & Owner of Zana Health
As a bilingual Physician Assistant born and raised in California’s Central Valley, I understand the unique healthcare needs of the communities I serve. My goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that is convenient, personalized, and built on trust.
My clinical background spans both high-acuity hospital medicine and outpatient care. I began my career in Trauma and Acute Care Surgery, where I spent two years caring for patients with complex medical and surgical needs in a fast-paced hospital setting. For the past two years, my practice has focused on Primary Care and Urgent Care, caring for patients across a wide range of acute and chronic health concerns.
These experiences have shaped the way I practice medicine today—looking at the whole person, recognizing when something needs further evaluation, and helping patients navigate both immediate concerns and their long-term health.

I believe in taking the time to listen, answer your questions, and develop thoughtful treatment plans that fit your individual needs, lifestyle, and goals.
